Design Selections & Custom Features
From cabinetry and countertops to flooring, fireplaces, lighting, trim details, built-ins, outdoor living spaces, and specialty rooms, your selections play a major role in the final investment of your home.

Lot Reservation & Design Agreement
Once you’ve selected your homesite and decided to move forward, the next step is typically reserving your lot and entering into the Design Agreement phase.
This is where your vision truly starts coming to life.
You’ll meet with Adam, our Director of Residential Design, along with our in-house design team to begin designing a home tailored specifically to your family, homesite, and lifestyle.
The process begins by refining the main floor and second floor layout. Adam will also create a site study so you can visualize how the home will sit on the lot, including the placement of the home and the size of your backyard.
Once the main floor and second floor plans are finalized, we’ll move into designing the finished lower level, if applicable, along with the exterior elevation and architectural details of the home.
As the design evolves, your pricing sheet will be updated throughout the process to reflect any changes and selections.
Design Preview Meeting
The final step before contract signing is your Design Preview Meeting with our design team.
During this meeting, we will:
• Review the standard finishes included within the base price of your home
• Explore upgraded finishes and personalized options
• Price allowances into your home based on your preferences
• Help prepare you for the selections process following contract signing
These allowances will later be utilized during your design selections appointments, giving you a clearer understanding of both included features and personalized upgrades before construction begins.
